Contract Work @ Artifacts
Visual Design, UX Design, UX Research
June 2020 - June 2021
Seoul, South Korea
Under the mission to increase transparency in art industry, an art-tech startup Artifacts assigned us to design two products: a mobile application with camera search engine, and a cloud inventory management system.
Due to lack of transparency and information asymmetry, there has been unnecessary barrier between the outsider (general audience) and the insider (industry experts) in the art industry. It not only hinders general audience to actively participants in art industry but also make the industry vulnerable for potential fraud and copyright infringement.
Peter Drunker said “what gets measure, gets manage.” With proper tools for management, we can only imagine how the industry would benefit. It is Artifacts’ mission to provide proper platform to combine multi-layered elements of value making with transparency, immediacy, and simplicity for all parties involved in the Art Industry.
Prototype - Usablity Test - User Research - Redesign - Development - Launch
